While painting The Savior, I wanted to emphasize characteristics such as kindness, purity, and love. The result is an image of a loving Christ that appears to be looking at us in admiration. His subtle smile expresses a wonderful feeling of acceptance. We must remember to see each other as Christ would see us, as friends and children of God with great potential.
